Android 4.1.2 rolls out for the Nexus 7

Finally!

Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean is rolling out to the Nexus 7 now and it’s delivering our most-wanted feature: landscape support for the home screen. The update is just 31.3MB in size and should be hitting a lucky batch of users now (we’re guessing it will continue to land on all Nexus 7 devices in the next several days). According to AndroidPolice, Android 4.1.2 will also improve the operating system’s performance and fix a few bugs here and there.

We’ve been really pleased with the Nexus 7 and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean in general, so this is just the icing on the cake.
