The card opened with Dennis Bermudez-vs-Pablo Garza. Dennis dominated the entire fight using his brute strength to whip Garza around like a rag doll (8 total takedowns) Pablo has an interesting defense technique about him but was clearly outmatched. Dennis is a very talented fighter and will climb up the ladder quickly.
Louis Gaudinot-vs-John Lineker. This match started with fireworks on both ends. John and Louis came out swinging for the fences, the first minute of round one was a total slug fest. John has some of the heaviest hands in the 125lb class I've ever seen. Lineker delivered most of the blows but was unable to finish off Gaudinot. Louis ended it on a choke-out/submission late in the 2nd round.
John Dodson-vs-Tim Elliott. John won season 14 of The Ultimate Fighter. The Magician seemed to have a hard time figuring out Tim's unorthodox style, Elliott came out displaying all kinds of crazy somersaults-flips and kicks. Dodson injured his left hand early in the fight which prevented him from dropping his big bomb. Dodson ended up victorious but Elliott's big show late in the 3rd round left many of us wondering?
The main attraction Nate Diaz-vs-Jim Miller was all about Nate. As much as I hate his bad manners and attitude, Diaz is really becoming a great fighter. Miller looked flat and left most of his fans totally disappointed.
Pat Barry-vs-Lavar Johnson. This fight started out in Barry's favor but quickly turned, Johnson's heavy blows were to much for Barry to endure. Lavar is a force to be reckoned with. This is Johnson's second consecutive Knockout (15 in his career) since leaving StrikeForce.
